A Blog-Worthy sandwich

Garlic Tri Tip Sourdough Sandwich
Srum-didly-umptious is the best word to describe!!!
Brian and I decided to get creative and made this sandwich the other night, it has carmelized onions, green & red carmalized peppers, sliced tri tip seasoned with fresh garlic, swiss cheese topped with Sourdough garlic bread
Ladies, you really need to make this for your husbands as well as your self!
Here is how you do it
1. Marinate a few Tri-Tip steaks in fresh minced garlic, Olive oil and salt & pepper
2. Slice a Walla Walla onion as well as a large red & green pepper
3. Cook the peppers & onion in a pan with a little Olive oil & butter as well as brown sugar. Cook them with the lid on until they are soft and start turning brown and carmelizing
4. Cook the Tri-Tip steak on the BBQ or pan intil it is medium rare (Or whichever way you like it, rare is better) Once the steak is cooked, slice it into very thin strips.
5. Butter the sourdough bread and sprinkle garlic salt on top. Toast the bread intil golden brown ( You can also use the grill or a pannini maker)
6. Layer your sandwich with the onion, steak and Swiss cheese
7. Enjoy!!!

Oh yeah? Well...I had a BLT. With lettuce from a bagged salad (I picked the carrots out) and the last two slices of plain white bread in the house.

NOW who's salivating?

Show-off.

I don't think that you can tell us about that without letting us sample some first. Sure it looks amazing but, how does it taste?
